NZMA is delighted to announce that we are now a City and Guilds accredited school and are offering 2 City and Guilds programmes:
Two qualifications for the price of one!
In order to further add value to our hospitality programme, our students now have the opportunity to enrol in one of City and Guilds International Vocational Qualifications, the Diploma in Food and Beverage Service. This internationally recognised qualification will be delivered concurrently with NZMA's National Diploma in Hospitality Management, providing students with dual qualifications from both NZ and the UK.
This is exceptional value for our students, who will get two diplomas for the price of one! The only additional cost will be $300 examination fee for City and Guilds. Other schools charge in excess of $3000 for this programme!
The addition of City and Guilds allows students to develop a greater range of skills including silver service, counter service and carvery and buffet service.
City and Guilds Barista Course
This 20 hour course is half theory and half practical. Students will learn how to deliver the best beverage experience for a customer. The qualification covers:
* products that make up the beverage
* preparation of beverages
* presentation of beverages
* serving of beverages
* customer service.
This programme will be offered either in conjunction with our Fern English programmes or as a stand alone course.
Course costs:
$400 for this 20 hour programme if also studying at Fern English or
NZMA'sSchool of Hospitality and Business Management
$750 if only completing this 20 hour programme as a stand alone
